When the LORD Talks

If I get up in the morning
And in my heart I know
The words the LORD has put there
To the computer I must go

Sometimes the words will flow so nice
Sometimes I wait for a sign
But soon the words come in my heart
I just know they are HIS not mine

I sit down now to write these things
That I feel are there for me
Sometimes the tears will even fall
When I see the words I read

Some one will say I don’t know how
You write so many things
The LORD gives me all I need
It’s to HIM I praise and sing

HE is my LORD and SAVIOR
Let me always let HIM know
Just how I love and praise HIM
With each word please let it show

GOOD MORNING TO YOU FRIEND
A NEW DAY IS HERE FOR YOU
WE SHARE THIS DAY TOGETHER
AS GOD WOULD WANT US TOO

LET PEACE BE IN YOUR HEART
WITH EVERYTHING YOU DO
GOOD MORNING TO YOU FRIEND
LET ME SHARE THIS PRAYER
WITH YOU

MAY ALL THE THINGS YOU DO
BE A BLESSING FROM ABOVE
THE FAITH WITHIN YOUR HEART
IS GIVEN WITH GOD’S LOVE

SO WITH EACH STEP YOU TAKE TODAY
HELP SOMEONE WHEN YOU SEE
THEY NEED TO FEEL GOD’S LOVE
JUST LIKE YOU AND ME

SHOW LOVE TO ONE ANOTHER
THAT’S WHAT EACH DAY SHOULD BE

TEACH THE CHILDREN

JESUS HELP ME TEACH THE CHILDREN
JUST WHAT LOVE SHOULD REALLY MEAN
THE DAYS JUST SEEM TOO BE ALL WRONG
WITH THE THING ‘S WE DO IT SEEMS

WE WORK TO HARD FOR ALL THE THINGS
THAT WE DON’T REALLY NEED
WE DON’T TAKE TIME TO KNEEL AND PRAY
TO HELP JESUS PLANT FAITHS SEED

PLEASE HELP TO TEACH THE CHILDREN
HOW TO HAVE A HEART THAT SHARES
SHOW THEM WHEN YOUR DAY HAS ENDED
HOW TO KNEEL WITH THEM IN PRAYER

EACH PARENT HAS A JOB TO DO
THE LORD BLESSED THEM WITH EACH CHILD
DON'T GIVE UP THAT PRECIOUS BLESSING
WALK WITH JESUS EACH AND EVERY MILE
