REASON FOR THE SEASON

The rain is coming the air is brisk
The summer has past by way to fast
As we all know winter is near
I am wondering how long it will last

The trees have lost their beauty
It fell upon the ground
To soon for me as I look to the sky
They are each trees beautiful crown

As the LORD changes all the seasons
We like to complain sometime
It’s either to hot or to cold
But each has their very own sign

Sometimes we see the seasons
For just things that we can do
Remember the LORD has his reason
For giving them to me and you

So now I look out and see the rain
And think yes this day is good
We need this too for all the things
So be happy like we should

Winter is also GODS beauty
The snow falls gently some days
This too has a reason to be here
LET me thank HIM today as I pray

When the LORD Talks

If I get up in the morning
And in my heart I know
The words the LORD has put there
To the computer I must go

Sometimes the words will flow so nice
Sometimes I wait for a sign
But soon the words come in my heart
I just know they are HIS not mine

I sit down now to write these things
That I feel are there for me
Sometimes the tears will even fall
When I see the words I read

Some one will say I don’t know how
You write so many things
The LORD gives me all I need
It’s to HIM I praise and sing

HE is my LORD and SAVIOR
Let me always let HIM know
Just how I love and praise HIM
With each word please let it show

THE LORD BLESSED THEM WITH EACH CHILD

WITH ONLY SINFUL WAYS TO SEE

GOD PUT A PAINT BRUSH IN MY HAND
AND BLESSED ME WITH THE NEED
I ASKED HIM NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO

SO MANY TIMES I ASK THE LORD
TO GUIDE THIS PAINTERS HAND
THAT HE SO KINDLY GAVE TO ME

I TRIED SO HARD TO USE THAT BRUSH
LIKE GOD WOULD WANT ME TOO

AS I WALKED DOWN OUR LONELY ROAD

THE BIRDS WERE SINGING ALL AROUND

THE TREES WERE SWAYING IN THE BREEZE

EVERY ONE WAITS FOR THE FIREWORKS TO START
BUT THE 4TH OF JULY IS THE DAY
TO SHOW PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT AND DIED FOR US
JUST HOW THANKFUL WE ARE IN SOME WAY
OUR LAND IS FREE SO SHOW YOU CARE
KNEEL DOWN AND PRAY FOR EACH SOUL
THE LORD KNEW JUST WHEN THERE WORK WAS DONE
MY SON IT IS TIME TO GO .
EACH KNEW THAT OUR SAVIOR JESUS
HAD DIED FOR THEM ON THE CROSS
IN PEACE THEY ARE EACH FAMILY KNOX'S
BUT FOREVER FEEL THE LOSS .

SOME TIMES WHEN I LOOK OUT MY
WINDOW I SEE THIS LITTLE BEAR
HE MUST BE ALL ALONE NOW

No one seems to care for them
So love is just not there
I know you love each child on earth
Please show them how you care

Let them feel you in there hearts
Let their troubles fade away
They are too young to feel the pain
This world gives them each day

The devil is out to get them
Their hearts turned hard I know
I pray for each to know this devil
Is there and won’t let go

Only you my LORD can help them now
Let them know love and not just hate
Show them how the devil tries
To make hell their final fate

When I am alone and think of the past
I think all the things I did wrong
When I didn’t trust the lord to do
everything that has come and gone

I was weak with my trust and thought
I could do
The things now I know where the lords
I remember the worry when sickness
Was there
I knew sickness we could not afford

Now I look back to all of those days
and know my lord had it planned
the time that I spent worrying each day
was like putting my head in the sand

I have learned through the years
to trust in lord and not the things
I can do

CHRISTMAS IS A WONDERFUL TIME
JOY WAS EVERY WHERE
OUR CHILDREN WERE SO CLOSE THIS TIME

THEN ILLNESS CAME TO THE ONE I LOVE
AND FRIGHTENED I BECAME
SO TO THE HOSPITAL THERE HE WENT
CHRISTMAS WOULD NOT BE THE SAME

IT BELONGS TO GOD’S ONLY SON
SO WITH THIS THOUGHT I DID THE BEST
I TRIED TO GET THINGS DONE
